The Alamo: Most Popular Tourist Destination In San Antonio, Texas
Of course, a stop at The Alamo is non-negotiable, and it’s steps away from the Riverwalk.
This is the number one travel destination not only in San Antonio but in all of Texas.
There is no charge to wander the grounds, and signs explain everything
However, you will not be able to enter a few exhibits.
I would suggest purchasing the audio self-guided tour. It is inexpensive and worth the investment because admission to all the exhibits is included.
