Top Things To Do at Haeundae Blueline Park in Busan
Mipo Station
Depending on which side you start from, Mipo Station will be your first or last point.
I generally made it my starting point, as this is where you can purchase tickets and learn about this park!
Here, you can sit in the waiting area, get tickets from the kiosks, or check out the selection from the small independent gift shops.
This is where I purchased a lot of my own souvenirs!
If you haven’t had breakfast yet, then you can easily grab a coffee or a quick snack from one of the cafes before heading to the platform.
The Busan Sky Capsule
One of the top things to do in Busan is riding the iconic Busan Sky Capsule!
You can board one of these colorful private pods on the second floor of Mipo Station.
Trust me, the slow, elevated ride beside the coast is one of the most beautiful things you can do here!
You can enjoy a 30-minute romantic journey to the Cheongsapo Station with stunning ocean views on the way!

The Haeundae Beach Train
Another great experience you do not want to miss here is riding the Haeundae Beach Train.
The train runs on the tracks beneath the Sky Capsule, and you can catch it from the first floor of Mipo Station. Or the Cheongsapo Station.
If you want a closer view of the natural shoreline and waves, then do take the Haeundae Beach Train.
This train makes a stop at every station along the 4.8-km railway line and is the best way to explore the Haeundae Blueline Park!

Haeundae Blueline Park: Dalmaji Tunnel
Once you leave Mipo, the first attraction you will see is the Dalmaji Tunnel.
This section of the railway track features a picturesque photo zone.
The train briefly enters a tunnel carved into the cliffside, offering a unique and beautiful view of the coastline.
For those walking the lower trail back, this is the perfect place to rest and capture some stunning photos!
Haewol Skywalk
After the Dalmaji Tunnel comes the Haewol Skywalk (sometimes referred to as the Haewol Observatory).
You will see this viewpoint jutting out from the cliff in the shape of a ‘U’ or a crescent.
This viewing point is easily accessible from the walking trail and provides stunning, wide-open panoramic vistas of the deep blue ocean.
Make sure to stop here and take plenty of photographs!
Cheongsapo Station
This is the last station of the Busan Sky Capsule and a must-visit in the Haeundae Blueline Park.
What I love about this station is not that it is a major amenity hub but that you can easily visit the charming Cheongsapo Village below.
This is a great spot to enjoy lunch in the plenty of local seafood restaurants and lovely independent cafes that you can find here.
The Twin Lighthouses of Cheongsapo
From the Cheongsapo station, you can walk for 10 minutes and reach the port to witness the stunning Twin Lighthouses.
This is the main attraction of the Cheongsapo Village.
You will see one red and one white lighthouse on the harbor, making for a good photo spot!
I love that these lighthouses symbolize the area’s history as a quaint fisherman’s village.
So, if you are visiting the Haeundae Blueline Park, then make sure to plan a stop here!
Haeundae Blueline Park: Daritdol Observatory
One of the top places to visit in Busan is the Daritdol Observatory, which is the next attraction after Cheongsapo.
This is one of the most thrilling things to do in this park!
Imagine walking on a glass skywalk that extends over the water and feels like you are walking directly above the crashing waves.
You can reach here by the Haeundae beach train, and it is a perfect spot for anyone walking along the scenic coastal trail.
Haeundae Blueline Park: Gudeokpo
The next main stop that you can enjoy is Gudeokpo, from where you can head to the local village.
This is yet another beautiful spot for anyone who loves watching ocean sunset views!
The train ride itself to this place is quite scenic, and you can get off here to enjoy a long walk towards the final destination.
Haeundae Blueline Park: Songjeong Station
Songjeong Station is the final stop on your Haeundae Blueline Park and is the best place to end your day in Busan.
From this station, you can reach the beautiful Songjeong Beach, which is quieter and less crowded than Haeundae Beach.
You will find more spots for snacks or dinner, and easy access to walk along the sandy shore.

How to Reach Haeundae Blueline Park
Now, let’s get into how you can reach the Blueline Park in Busan.
Most people start at Mipo Station, which is right at the edge of Haeundae Beach.
You can take the Busan Sky Capsule from Mipo to Cheongsapo for the elevated views.
Another option is to take the Haeundae Beach Train, which connects Mipo, Cheongsapo, and Songjeong at ground level with wide windows so you can enjoy the ocean view.
All the seats in the beach train face the same way, towards the coastal views, so every seat offers great views.
Remember, the Busan sky capsule only runs between Mipo and Cheongsapo, while the Haeundae beach train runs the full distance between Mipo and Songjeong.
Also, you need advance tickets on busy days. This is a must!
If you’re staying anywhere in Haeundae, you can walk to Mipo. Otherwise, taxis and local buses drop you right near the entrance, as the entire area is well-connected.
For those taking the subway, you should reach Haeundae Station (Busan Subway Line 2).
From here, take Exit 7, and enjoy a 15 to 20-minute walk along Haeundae Beach toward the far end, or you can take a short taxi ride.
If you are starting from the eastern end, then take the subway to Songjeong Station (Busan Subway Line 2) and then a local bus heading toward Songjeong Beach.
