There is more to do here, such as strolling through Balboa Park, hiking at Torrey Pines, trying craft beer, and eating tacos.

You will find plenty of budget-friendly stays here, and since you need only domestic flights, you can easily plan a trip to San Diego on a limited budget.

Honestly, if you are looking for a laid-back vacation, then this is one of the top choices for warm weather getaways!

Los Cabos, Mexico

If you are looking for budget-friendly international vacations in the winter, then Los Cabos in Mexico is a great choice!

You don’t need a passport if you are a US citizen and can get cheap flights easily.

That’s not all, there are amazing Mayan ruins for you to explore here, go cave tubing, or you can spend a relaxing day on the beaches of Caye Caulker.

What I love about this place is that it is less commercialized than other warm vacation spots, so you can avoid the crowds here.

You will find plenty of private villas and luxury resorts with infinity pools and amazing ocean views, making it the perfect choice for a luxury getaway.

That’s not all, there are beaches and other city attractions here also for you to explore, depending on your budget.

Here are my tips on how to pack lightly. using a carry-on when traveling. And WHY it is almost a necessity!
