Are you looking for the ultimate in luxury and pampering while traveling in Ireland? When in the Cork area, look no further than the Hayfield Manor Hotel, an Ireland’s Blue Book Property. The grounds, the rooms, the spa, and the food were all of the highest quality and the service was impeccable!

Hayfield Manor Hotel Review: The Ultimate Luxury Experience in Cork, Ireland

The Grounds At Hayfield Manor Are Classic And Quirky!

The exterior of the five-star-rated Hayfield Manor is straight out of a romance novel, ivy included, and aptly sets the tone for the experience of staying at a manor-house hotel. It is very apparent that great care is taken to upkeep the welcoming and inviting gardens, and the quirky statues/ornaments add just the right amount of whimsy to keep guests amused and interested in searching for other examples elsewhere in the gardens.

The Rooms at Hayfield Manor Hotel are Sumptuous and Welcoming!

My bedroom was very inviting and warm. I felt right at home in it, and comfortable from the moment I walked across the threshold into it. The staff of the manor house was kind enough to write me a welcome note, and left me truffles and Bailey’s Original Irish Cream to sample as welcome gifts! The bed was fit for a king and/or a queen and the decor throughout the entire room was amazing, with muted yellow walls and complimentary-colored draperies The large window brought in a lot of light from the outside to brighten up the room even further.

The modern bathroom had every amenity imaginable, including a vintage claw bathtub, and a large towel warmer, a true way to be spoiled after a shower or bath!  The beautiful shower and double sinks at the bathroom vanity, with large mirror spanning the entire length of the vanity, was nothing less than expected at such an exceptional place as Hayfield Manor Hotel.

The Food At Hayfield Manor Hotel Was Exceptional

I arrived at the Hayfield Manor Hotel on a Sunday evening, and their upscale fine dining restaurant Orchids was closed. Instead, I was in for a lovely experience in Perrotts Garden Bistro, which was located in the front of Hayfield Manor Hotel, in the conservatory area. As a traveling vegan, it can sometimes be difficult to find acceptable food to eat at a restaurant, but not so at Perrotts Garden Bistro! The chef created off-menu delicacies for me that were amazing to look at and even more delicious to eat! From the appetizer to the dessert it was a culinary feast I will not forget. The service during the meal was top notch and every single need was met, often before I even made it known. I definitely made an effort to have the staff thank the chef for me on creating such masterpieces for me to eat!

My delicious dinner, exquisitely plated.

The morning of my departure, breakfast was included, and after being seated at my table I made my way to the breakfast buffet. There was a wide array of food options available, both hot and cold selections to choose from. There were so many vegan options for me, as well as a dedicated gluten-free area. Needless to say, I did not leave breakfast hungry!

The Beautique Spa At Hayfield Manor Hotel Was Spectacular!

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that parts of the Beautique Spa at Hayfield Manor Hotel were open until 11:00 PM the evening of my stay. After arriving in the early evening to the manor house, and after having a long and leisurely dinner, I was very grateful for the opportunity to relax and unwind at the Beautique Spa at the Hayfield Manor. The gorgeous pool was quite the sight for me and I definitely took advantage of doing some late-night “laps” to decompress. The hot tub with all the glorious bubbles was located outside, adjacent to the pool, and was also such a great way to relax after a long travel day. I spent equal amounts of time in the steam room (my favorite!) and sauna to complete my evening at the Beautique Spa. I really appreciated the staff keeping the Spa open late to accommodate late-nighters like me!

All throughout my stay, quietly in the background, the entire hotel staff worked tirelessly to ensure I had a positive experience and wanted for nothing during my time at the Hayfield Manor Hotel. If you are in search of a five-star hotel in Ireland, look no further than the Hayfield Manor Hotel. It represents the best of what luxury accommodations and service are.

The elegant, yet inviting, lobby of the Hayfield Manor Hotel!

Please note: I was provided one complimentary night at the Hayfield Manor Hotel as an opportunity through Ireland”s Blue Book and Hayfield Manor Hotel for the purpose of this honest review. All opinions are my own.

Hayfield Manor looks like it could be an excellent place to stay for some pampering during an Irish road trip. A steam room would feel very nice on a blustery Irish day.

Hi Linda. The Hayfield Manor looks like a really great place to stay. And I love the facf that their spa stays open late. As you say, so many times we arrive at a destination in the evening, and very little might be open after we have our dinner. I’d love the option of being able to take an evening swim.
